NOTICE OF OPEN HOUSE AND PUBLIC HEARING
VILLAGE OF SURING COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT
Please take notice that an open house and subsequent public hearing will be held on a proposed amendment to the Village of Suring 20-Year Comprehensive Plan. The open house and public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the Village of Suring Municipal Building 604 E Main Street, Suring, WI 54174.
The proposed amendment is intended to update the comprehensive plan including but not limited to land uses, projections, and general plan design which will extend the design year of the plan to the year 2040.
Copies of the proposed amendment are available for review at the Village Hall during office hours. The public is invited to speak on the proposed amendment at the Public Hearing. Written comments may be submitted prior to or at the public hearing. Any questions, written comments, or requests for a copy of the proposed plan amendment should be directed to the Village Clerk, by mail at P.O. Box 31, Suring, WI 54174, by phone at (920) 842-2333, or via email at suringclerk@ci.suring.wi.us. Written comments will be given the same weight as oral testimony and be part of the public record.
The Planning Commission will review the comments received prior to adoption of the plan update. Planning Commission and Village Board action will occur at future meetings, for which separate notice will be provided.
